How did the idea of bringing Namastecita mats to yoga retreats come about?
It certainly wasn't our idea; teachers and students who were already using Namastecita told us they'd love to have our mats at their retreats. A true honor...
What inspired them to offer this possibility to teachers and organizers?
From this, we were inspired to accompany each person through their journey on a retreat. We wanted them to take away something that would remind them of that profound inner transformation, in addition to the experience itself.
More than just a souvenir: a yoga mat that encourages them to continue practicing when they return home. A kind of bridge between what they experienced at the retreat and what comes next.

We believe that a yoga mat is not just a physical support, but an intimate space where internal changes, reflections, and openings occur. And that is completely aligned with the essence of Namastecita, which was born to accompany personal processes in an honest, personal, and heartfelt way.
How do you envision the future of Namastecita in the world of yoga and mindful encounters?
We see Namastecita growing as a brand that offers not just products, but experiences. And this is news that hasn't yet been made public.
Soon we will have our own “Namastecita Retreats” , led by different ambassadors in different corners of the world.
We want those encounters to be so warm that people say "I want to come back" before they end.
What does it mean to you that other people teach or guide practices on Namaste mats?
Honestly, it's a huge honor... and also a bit of an emotion that's hard to describe.
It's seeing your creations fly around the world and touch lives you never imagined. When a teacher chooses a Namastecita to guide a practice, we feel the energy multiply: from us to her, and from her to all her students.
We love to think that, in some way, our mats are holding up stories we don't even know... And it fills us with gratitude to know that we are part of that bridge!
What new projects or collaborations would you like to create in the coming years regarding this proposal?
We are eager to continue doing beautiful and brave things.
In addition to Namastecita retreats, we want to collaborate with more ambassadors, design collections with artists who inspire us, create content that moves you (inside and out), and bring our mats to festivals, studios, and experiences where the vibe is high.
In short: more community, more creativity, and more reasons to unroll the mat and say, "something starts here."
